Viziotix’s Offer for Retail
Our mission is to improve productivity in retail, and all barcode processes, by providing the technology to scan barcodes and other image data faster and with the highest scan success rates. We are proud to offer the leading tech to scan many barcodes in the same image with Maxi-Scan. We can scan totes and pallets with tens or hundreds of barcodes in the same image, with the fastest scanning times. We will demonstrate this capability at NRF using smartphones and fixed cameras.
New Barcode Scanner SDK features from Viziotix for NRF
This is not the first retail show for Viziotix, but it is the first NRF. Viziotix will show the latest version (v17) of our Barcode Scanner SDK with the following new features:
- Center decoding mode: Select tightly grouped barcodes, or barcodes from lists, using this new scanning mode that enables accurate targeting of the barcode you need to scan.
- Barcode Search: Scan many barcodes in the same video stream to find a particular barcode. Pick up in-store (BOPIS), stock searching and item size searching can all be helped by equipping scanning applications with the ability to search for particular barcodes and highlight them on screen with AR. This presents huge opportunities for in-store efficiency savings.
- Support for Web Apps: Our new Angular SDK supports the integration of our SDK into Web apps and websites. This provides barcode scanning direct into your web apps for enterprise use or consumer scanning applications such as self-scanning.
- MRZ Scanning: Need to record or upload ID card or Passport information for identification? Our new MRZ scanner scans the text lines in the Machine-Readable Zones of identity documents at high speed. Check out the video below.
- Higher performance: As well as the new features above, the version 17 release includes all the latest performance upgrades on 1D and 2D barcodes.
